Deck cleaning/staining

If your deck looks a little dingy, it is time for a cleaning. Constant exposure to UV rays and rain can cause neglected decks to fade, crack, split and warp. We will return on a second visit to apply a colored tinted stain with sealer Protectant by Sherwin Williams named Super Deck. The Super Deck stain with sealer is backed with a product warranty of 36 months to repel the growth of mold & mildew.

The stain unifies the color of the wood, repels water, delays oxidation and adds longevity to the life of the wood. The stain is water soluble which is better for the environment, cleaner manufacturing, and easy soap/water clean up.

This is a two day project since we can't stain the wood when it is wet. Therefore; we would be returning on a second day to do the staining portion of the project. We will also tack back all loose nails and complete a light sanding on the second visit.
